About the 3i Project
Triple-I (Investing In Impact) is an initiative set up to proffer innovative solutions to the problem of poverty, death of profitability skills, and access to business financing amongst underserved rural women in North-East Nigeria. Through well-tailored training in profitable poultry and livestock production, the Triple-I project aims to improve the livelihood of rural women, thereby enhancing their capacities to provide for their households and communities, while contributing to global food security.

OUR MISSION
Our mission is to strengthen the income generating capacity of widows and internally displaced women in Sub-Saharan Africa by providing them inputs for sustainable poultry farming and livestock production; capacity development, as well as market linkages.
OUR VISION
Our goal is to expand to 75,000 women in the next 10 years, thereby promoting inclusive growth and achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG5) (Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls).
OUR AIM
Our aim is to create and deploy innovative solutions that address protracted social issues and barriers to economic empowerment for vulnerable groups, especially women.

Scale up of the Investing in impact initiative will be officially launched in Abuja to spread the reach widely across the 6 regions of the country. The pilot phase has taken off in Gombe and Nasarawa State with good number of women indicating interest for participation in the second phase.

WOMEN EMPOWERMENT
We are empowering vulnerable women in rural communities with entrepreneurial skilss with which they can generate income, reduce poverty and increase their impact in their families and communities.
FOOD
SECURITY
Improved participation of rural women in the agricultural sector through livestock production and poultry farming will create food for their households and communities, thereby contributing to global food security.
IMPROVED LIVELIHOOD
The improved livelihood of one rural woman will impact 6 people (dependents). 1,000 women will impact 6,000 people, creating a ripple effect of improved livelihood amongst households and communities.

For every woman reached, there are 4 children on the side that smiles and is assured of a better living.
